2016 is starting well ...

I've finished the daisy quilt and it is now looking pretty on Poppy's bed ...

I have finished the quilt I made in my Dad's memory and I have taken it over to Prospect Hospice ...

I love the way the quilting looks like waves - thank you Barbara!

And I love the anchor fabric on the back.  Think Dad will be very proud - hope so anyway!

And yesterday, I picked up my teapot quilt which I've made for my Aunt's 80th Birthday.  Just need to bind it now ...

Can you see the quilting looks like steam?  Big thank you to Barbara at Fir Tree Quilting for long arm quilting all my quilts so beautifully.

Now on to my next project which I'm hoping will be a wall hanging for the sitting room ...

Quilt in a bag ...

Popped over to Cupcake Cottons this morning because I needed to remind myself of the quilt course I have signed myself up for and they have a sale on!  Needless to say, the quilt is lovely.  Hope Steph doesn't mind, but here is a quick photograph of the example hanging up in the shop ...

It's another block a month quilt starting in February.  This is perfect for me - I love the fact that over the year my quilt will grow!  And here is my quilt in a bag ...

Not going to show you the fabrics yet but watch this space!

HAPPY 2016!
